Aboard the "Gato Verde"

Welcome aboard the most environmentally responsible small ship Mothership in the San Juan Islands - the "Gato Verde." She is the first plug in diesel electric hybrid charter boat on the West Coast!  We will join Captain Todd and one of Elakah's top notch naturalists and guides on a spectacular tour of the San Juan Islands by sail and by kayak! 

The Mothership experience is by far the best way to enjoy the beauty and diversity of the San Juan Islands.  We will use the Gato Verde to transport our group of 8 folks to some of the most beautiful and remote spots around.  Once there, we can launch our fleet of tandem kayaks and experience the area in a more intimate way.  After an exciting day of paddling among seals, eagles, and, if we are lucky, an occasional pod of Orcas, you'll return to the Gato Verde for a nice private hot shower and a great gourmet meal, followed by a comfy warm bed.
